  • Matt has worked across the United States as a performer, including HAMILTON (National Tour), COMPANY (National Tour), ALMOST FAMOUS (Broadway), SCHOOL OF ROCK (Broadway & National Tour), PRESENT LAUGHTER (Broadway), STEREOPHONIC (Pre-Broadway Development), and many more — working alongside Emmy, Grammy, Tony, Oscar, and Pulitzer Prize winners such as Cameron Crowe, Robert & Kristen Lopez, Tom Kitt, Jason Robert Brown, Kevin Kline, Pedro Pascal, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Huey Lewis, Marianne Elliot, Alex Timbers, Moritz Von Stuelpnagel, Daniel Aukin, & Jack O’Brien

EDUCATION

  • Matt holds an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University: Mason Gross School of the Arts. While there he trained in Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen, Michael Chekhov, and Lloyd Williamson techniques — as well as Knight/Thompson Speechwork and Fitzmaurice Voicework.

    Since graduating from Rutgers, Matt has continued to train with master teacher and direct pupil of Meisner and Hagen, Deborah Hedwall, in New York.
